Level One Camp- June 15th-18th 9am-Noon
This camp is specialized for students in their first two years in JAM. Kids will form bands and get helpful tips about how to play better with others. Kids will also learn a lot about basic music theory, tuning, tone and timing. The student stringbands will get a chance to perform for friends and families on the last day of camp.
Level Two Camp- July 13th-16th 9am-Noon
This camp is designed for kids that have been in the JAM program for three years or more. We will continue building on skills sich as listening, taste, tone and timing, and further our knowledge of music theory. We will have the chance to work on some things we might not get to work on in JAM class like harmony, improvisation and arranging songs in more depth and detail. Like the Level One camp, kids will form stringbands on the first day and perform at the end of camp.
